Sweater Weather Cocktails!

We can’t believe it’s almost fall and that means sweater season is upon us! As the weather gets cooler, the leaves start changing and your readers begin to crave autumn flavors like apple, cinnamon, and coffee, we would love to share some “sweater weather” cocktails that they can sip at-home. From smokey mezcal, to more seasonally sweet flavors like apple and raspberry, and even a classic coffee and Port to enjoy by the fire, see below for a few options for those socially distant happy hours or small family gatherings this season:

Chambord Royale

Ingredients:

1/3 oz. Chambord Liqueur

Sparkling wine of choice

1 Raspberry

Directions:

Pour Chambord into flute glass, top with sparkling wine, finish with a raspberry garnish.

Apple & Gin Autumn

Ingredients:

2 oz Gin Mare Gin

2 oz Apple Cider

0.5 oz Lime Juice

0.5 oz Honey Simple Syrup

Dash Cinnamon bitters

Apple Slices

Directions:

Add all the ingredients to a glass filled with ice and stir. Garnish will apple and cinnamon.

Port Coffee Cocktail

Ingredients:

2oz Croft Tawny Reserve Port

2oz Cold Brew Coffee

1oz Irish Cream Liqueur

Directions:

Add the Croft Reserve Tawny Port, cold brew coffee and Irish cream liqueur to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake, then strain into a martini glass. Garnish with coffee beans.

Harvest Moon

Ingredients:

2 oz. Convite Esencial Mezcal

1 oz. guava nectar

.5 oz. fresh lime juice

.5 oz. cinnamon syrup

2 oz. Apple soda

Directions:

Shake all ingredients except soda with ice. Strain over ice in tall glass. Fill with Apple Soda and stir. Garnish with sliced apples
