The No.1 Vodka Brand in the World launches the SMIRNOFF Equalizer Platform along with Spotify to celebrate the achievements of women everywhere this International Women’s Day!
The goal of SMIRNOFF’s International Women’s Day global campaign, is to encourage women everywhere to celebrate the inherent power of women around the world, starting with themselves. In order to help reach that goal, SMIRNOFF has extended their Equalizing Music campaign by working with Spotify to promote equality for women musicians around the world.
The brand marked the launch of the Smirnoff Equalizer, an industry-first application programming interface (API), designed in partnership by SMIRNOFF and Spotify to help make a difference in the music industry and increase representation of women in music.
To support women in music, the Smirnoff Equalizer analyzes users’ listening habits to provide them with a percentage breakdown of the number of men versus women artists they have listened to in the past six months before providing them with an “equalized” playlist tailored just for them. The platform also offers a personalized slider, where users can increase the number of women artists in their playlists.

The bottles are being gifted to 100 phenomenal women around the world, along with a donation made in each of their names to She Runs It, a non-profit whose mission is to pave the way for more women to lead in the workplace.
